WeGov participated in GOR12, in March 2012

WeGov partner GESIS participated in the conference “General Online Research 2012” (GOR12), on 5 - 7 March 2012 at the DHBW Mannheim, in Germany.

The focus of the conference organized by the German Society for Online Research (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Online-Forschung e.V./DGOF) was the discussion of basic research, innovative developments, and practical experiences in the field of online research. Online research covers all methods, instruments and theories that are dealing with the collection of data via online networks; and effects of online applications and technologies on all levels of society.

GESIS successfully submitted and presented a scientific paper on “Approaches for validating automatic Analytic Tool results on social networking data for its Exploitation within Politicians' everyday Workflow” which was produced in the framework of the WeGov project.
