WeGov took part in the 2nd Digital Agenda Assembly, in June 2012

WeGov partner GFI participated in the 2nd Digital Assembly in Brussels, Belgium on the 21st - 22nd June, 2012.

The Assembly consisted of an online engagement space launched ahead of the event, 8 workshops on key Digital Agenda topics and a plenary session to report feedback on previous discussions and hold debates on the way forward. The plenary sessions as well as 7 workshops were streamed LIVE and will be soon available from record.

The main objectives of the Assembly were to: assess progress to date on implementation towards the Digital Agenda’s goals and actions and seek ways to improve delivery; identify challenges ahead for the implementation of the Digital Agenda and for the information society in general; mobilise stakeholders’ actions to make further progress and address challenges.

WeGov partner GFI liaised with different stakeholders with the aim to engage them with project.
