WeGov project presented in "The Guardian"

WeGov partners are delighted to break the news of another WeGov highlight! This time WeGov project was presented in “The Guardian”.

Nick Jones, wrote a wonderful article regarding the project on the occasion of the success story of the Hansard Society/ WeGov project event on social media and policy – making.

The article with the title “Social media engagement myths, risks and lessons to learn from Whitehall” discusses about social media and government highlighting the aforementioned WeGov dedicated event.

Nick Jones is the deputy director of communications in the UK prime minister's Office and Cabinet Office. Jones was invited to join the panel, which also comprised Kevin Brennan, social media MP of the year 2010, Nick Pickles of Big Brother Watch, Britain Thinks pollster Deborah Mattinson and the BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones,doyen of the tech journalists. In this article he gives his view regarding the event and the discussion that took place within it.
